Today I would like to share two resources that I have found extremely helpful for dealing with…

Both of these resources come from Erin (Bates) and Chad Paine, a wonderful husband and wife team. They share a weekly podcast that I listen to on YouTube. And because Erin plays the piano in an amazing way, they have created a Scripture Meditations 2 disc CD with Chad reading Psalms and Erin, along with several friends, playing instrumental Hymns as background music. You can also watch the making of the Scripture Meditations CD in a studio on their YouTube channel.

On a recent podcast, Erin shares in less than six minutes amazing ways to deal with anxiety. A few of her suggestions are:

  • Dwell on God’s word daily for peace
  • Limit outside voices
  • Study to learn more about Jesus each day
  • Play soft hymns and Christian music in the background as you go about your day.

Click here to listen to the entire podcast for more ideas to help deal with anxiety. It was very helpful to me, as I’m sure it will be for everyone. And, don’t forget, it is less than six minutes—so it will not take much of your time to learn some tips that will change your life for the better and give you peace.

The second resource, Scripture Meditations, can be found on their website: https://www.chadanderin.com/. You can also find it in the apple itunes store.

I downloaded it to my phone from the itunes store for $10.99. When I am having trouble falling asleep, I play it softly. It soothes me to a peaceful state and then I can finally rest. I also play it during the day as I go about my work.

I highly recommend subscribing to Chad and Erin’s website and YouTube Channel. Whatever your age and position in life, you will find many resources for help and encouragement.

“Be careful (anxious) for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
