I had planned to do a book review today, but postponed it as I felt it more important to give respect to everyone throughout history who has fought to give me the freedoms I enjoy today.
But, the most important fight and death, that gave me (and you) absolute freedom (from the curse on us) was when Jesus Christ conquered His own desires and chose to die on the cross for you and me.
“And He went a little farther, and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” Matthew 26:39

You are right, Jane. We enjoy freedom in many ways. Both of those you talk about are huge and we should be grateful every day for both.
