This week we have seen many disturbing things happening, but it is not all as it seems. We have become a people, who have to constantly filter out the lies that are being told to us by a wicked and degenerate section of America’s population.

Many people tell us to keep our political opinions to ourselves as it will destroy our reputations on the social media who bans what Christians say, but let evil people talk all day long. What is happening is not really about politics anymore. It is about good versus evil. It is about the battle between God and Satan.

It’s time for God-fearing people to take a stand. You can’t stay quiet and hope it all goes away. It won’t. You can’t straddle the fence and be lukewarm, or God will spit you out of His mouth (see Revelation 3:15-16). I take my stand with God.

So how do we look at it all?

If there are a people who want the right to abort babies at any stage of life and cheer when a bill is passed to commit such horrible crimes, a people who want to change what God created as Man and Woman, a people who pray to false gods before starting their meetings in the capitol of the country that has it beginnings rooted in the Bible, and take the word Amen (which means “so be it”) and turn it into a gender term… we should look at all of this as wicked.

I am ashamed of what this country has done to President Trump. He has supported Christians and prayer, defended the races, tried to make our country safe from other countries, tried to protect the unborn, and the sanctity of marriage that was set up by God at the beginning. In other words, he has stood for what the Bible calls right and good. He has been accused of stirring up a mob, when, if you watch the videos without the lies of the regular media attached, he promotes peace, hope, and help for the ones who have seen the videos of widespread and blatant voter fraud. Check for yourself. The numbers don’t add up.

He has received nothing but brutal treatment, been falsely accused on many occasions, with a constant barrage of lies made up against him… for over four years. And the ones that are close to him, who have been appointed to stand by him and help him do the right thing, have stabbed him in the back. Now, the wicked ones that rule our country want to impeach him, again. As Christians we are given the mandate to be subject to the governing authorities (See Romans 13:1-7, 1 Peter 2:13, Titus 3:1).

I know many of you are thinking about past sins that may or may not have been committed by President Trump, but I say, “…let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” (John 8:7 NLT). And, if you want your sin forgiven you had better forgive others. (see Matthew 6:14-15)

Now that brings up another sticky situation. Do we forgive the wicked that are doing wrong? Are we subject to their authority?

The answer:

“Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night.” (Psalm 1: 1-2 NLT) In other words stay away from wicked people and study God’s word day and night so you will do the right thing.

And, as for obeying authority, If those in authority are going against scripture and God… then “… We must obey God rather than men.” (Acts 5:29 ESV)

What happens to the wicked?

“They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind. They will be condemned at the time of judgment. Sinners will have no place among the godly. For the LORD watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.” (Psalm 1:4b-6)

Today, I would like to encourage you to read Psalm chapters 64-70 to find out what the battle is really about. God has used President Trump to fight for Biblical causes, but this battle is not about President Trump. God used him as a tool to help push forward Biblical values and I pray that God blesses President Trump, brings him into a closer relationship with Himself, and protects him and his family from anyone that would come against him. I pray that he is blessed and rewarded for his good works. And, I would ask you to pray for good things for President Trump, and his family, and that God will continue to use him in a mighty way.

So, what is this culture war really about? It is about God’s battle and what He does to His enemies and the enemies that deny what Jesus did on the cross to save us. “Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.” (Psalm 68:1-3 KJV)

Today, I would encourage you to take a stand. There are only two sides. God’s side, or Satan’s side. Be careful which you choose. I would encourage you to fight today, for our children and grandchildren, and for our country that was founded under Biblical principles. Fight on your knees, in prayer. Fast. Speak up when you can, use your platforms before free speech is a thing of the past, because… “whoever denies me before men, I will also deny before my Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 10:33 ESV)

“Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known. Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather, fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:26-28 NKJV)

“And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.” (Luke 19:37-40 KJV)

Is the LIGHT going out in America? Will you let it go out without a fight? Are the stones going to have to cry out, or will you?
