Leaving your mark on the world is exhausting.
You run out of supplies.
You run out of time.
You run out of money.
You run out of energy.
And the weather doesn’t cooperate.
Sometimes I’m grateful for rainy days, because I feel the LORD is giving me a day to rest and restore from all the hard physical labor.
But, it is so important to never give up.
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 ESV.
If you have decided to do something… just do it. You may be delayed, but God seems to work it all out in His time. And from my experience, He shields you from running yourself physically into the ground, by making you run out of things… then replenishing them after you’ve had some days to rest.
We were able to get the garden shed moved by lifting it onto the back of my husband’s truck and driving it as close as possible to where we wanted to place it. Then lifting it over the fence into the garden.

Once in place, we temporarily tied it down to the fence. Later we will tie it down in a less noticeable way. I began work on the brick walkway from the building. Until I ran out of bricks, money, and time. Today it is raining.

Hopefully by next week I can show you the completed project.
I’m beginning to think that I’m not leaving my mark on the world, but the world is leaving its mark on me.
What do you think? Is the world leaving a mark on you, too?
